We had the opportunity to meet Mark Jansen during our stay at Sango in the Save Valley. He guided us for 7 days in remote Wilderness. It was our great pleasure to have him as our guide. His skills, his sense and knowledge of nature and especially his mentality and personality made our time with him unforgettable. He took great care for us while we tracked and found Lion and Rhino. We enjoyed watching the Hyaenas in and around their den but most memorable were our bush walks. Over all – it will not be easy to find someone better suited for this job. Till our next trip!
I have spent the most amazing week in my life, hunting with Mark and his team. We had the proper, old fashonied hunting as described by Hemminway, Roosvelt or Wilbur Smith. No shortcuts. Stalking, tracking. He infected me with bacteria Africana. I am thinking about the experience all the time, counting days to return and hunt with him again! Thank you Mark, Livi, Steven! Looking forward to see you soon!
Hands down- AMAZING!! I didn’t really know what to expect, but this trip ended up being so much more than I could have anticipated. Mark guided us (safely ) through the bush to incredible encounters with the wild animals. He got us phenomenal vantage points (with the help of his tracker, Patterson) for photographing the animals and landscape and as well as a safe, clean hunt. Mark was also vastly knowledgeable about the people, land, wildlife, and the delicate balance that exists so that it was as much of an education as it was an experience. The rest of the staff at camp made our stay a true 5 star experience in the middle of the African bush: gourmet meals, hot water for showers, cleansing towels after a long ride through the trails, clean linens and clothes daily- nothing was neglected. If you’ve haven’t considered visiting this beautiful country, you should. And when you do, reach out to Natalie and Mark. They will make it a trip of a lifetime for your family. I can’t wait to go back!!
